If you know me and my work, you know I try to stay out of political battles and that I’m not a public speaker. All I care about is creativity and teaching people to use 3d design tools and how to succeed with their careers. 

But I can no longer stand aside while war crimes are committed against a neighbor democratic sovereign country. People, who just few days ago commuted to their office and thought about their dinner plans with friends, are now hiding in the basements making molotows.

I simply can’t continue as nothing happened, driving my son to school, while my wife nurses our 3 month old at home. All the while just few miles to the east, young people with their infants are trying to flee their homeland.

This is not political. This is about pure evil.

It’s time to speak up. And do something.

I’ve decided to offer my courses with 50% discount and donate 100% of that revenue to the cause.

I have selected two charity orgs I trust. 

The first is our local Slovakian refugee fund with a support of Unicef, Amnesty International, and many more. Joined under one initiative to help refugees find home, work and support their families.

Customers had an option to support Ukrainian refugees by using the code HELPUA

Second is a direct Ukrainian military support through savelife.in.ua and if the customer used the code DEFENDUA, money ended up there.

Over the course of the campaign, we collected $9,524 in sales. HELPUA generated $7,432 and DEFENDUA generated $2,092.

The money was already sent to their respective recipients (after conversion to EUR at 0.91 USD).

I will try to reach out to these organizations to get a confirmation for Polygon Runway community and put it up here.
